Spring Semester
The spring semester always seems like a short semester. There are so many activities that take place during the spring semester that make the semester fly by, including testing. Even though you are extremely busy during this semester, be sure to dedicate enough time to your studies in order to ensure your educational success. If you really think about it, we only have nine weeks until spring break. Then, we only have seven weeks after spring break. The school year will be over with before you know it. Make sure to apply yourself in everything you participate in, including extra- curricular activities. Put your education near the top of your priorities, and I guarantee you will see improvement.
Thank you,
Wayne Guiltner
High School Principal
Graduation Date Moved
The graduation date has been moved from May 10 to May 14. The date was changed becuase after the 2011-2012 school calendar had been set for Salem schools, several state events were scheduled that would have interfered with graduation. Many seniors would have had to choose between graduation and their particular event. Due to these events, we moved graduation to a date that does not have a scheduled event. Graduation is scheduled for May 14 at 8:00 p.m. Seniors last day of school will be May 4.
