Congratulations to the Jr. High Quiz Bowl team!  2nd Place in Regional Competition.

Team Members: Mashaia Russell, Lane Hall, Kendra Pendergrass, Audrey Cox, Dylan York, Marshall Tyree, Callie Marsh, Brooklyn McCollum, Melissa Palumbo, and Ashley Hall.

The team will compete in the State Tournament on Feb. 25^th.

There will be a financial aid meeting for seniors and their parents on February 6, at 6:30 in the cafeteria.

FCCLA members need to turn in pizza kit order forms Monday, February 6.

Club pictures will be taken during 3^rd hour tomorrow, Tuesday, February 7^th.  Students will be dismissed by intercom to go to the gym.

There will be a meeting at the Farm Bureau office on February 9^th at 7:00 p.m. for students interested in the summer MASH program.

Thanks to all if you who have donated to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital!  Together we have raised over $50 dollars. We have through Wednesday to make donations for the St. Jude’s children.  Please bring your spare change!!!!!

Students that would like to take the compass test need to sign up in the office.  The compass test will be given February 7.  Students need a 19 in English and Reading for most courses.  Students need a 20 on the math ACT for college Algebra.  If you need to take the compass test for any of these areas, it will cost $5 per tested area.  If you have to take it again, it will cost $5 again.

Congratulations to all students who tried out at the 2012 ASBOA All-State auditions held Saturday at Henderson State University. Samantha Massey earned all state honors by being selected as the first chair oboe in the All State Concert Band.

All fourth hour Music 7 students and sixth hour Instrumental Music 7 students need to bring either AR books or study materials to class today. Music 7 students who did not complete the assignment Friday can finish that also.

The AR competition is anyone’s game.  You have until the end of the quarter to receive points.  That’s over a month away!
