Students that would like to take the compass test need to sign up in the office. The compass test will be given February 7. Students need a 19 in English and Reading for most courses. Students need a 20 on the math ACT for college Algebra. If you need to take the compass test for any of these areas, it will cost $5 per tested area. If you have to take it again, it will cost $5 again.
Congratulations to all students who tried out at the 2012 ASBOA All-State auditions held Saturday at Henderson State University. Samantha Massey earned all state honors by being selected as the first chair oboe in the All State Concert Band.
All fourth hour Music 7 students and sixth hour Instrumental Music 7 students need to bring either AR books or study materials to class today. Music 7 students who did not complete the assignment Friday can finish that also.
Congratulations to the Jr. High Quiz Bowl team, Mashaia Russell, Lane Hall, Kendra Pendergrass, Audrey Cox, Dylan York, Marshall Tyree, Callie Marsh, Brooklyn McCollum, Melissa Palumbo, and Ashley Hall, they placed 2nd at regional’s on Saturday and will go on to play at State on Feb. 25th.
